How did the idea for your business come about?

I had reflected on how I could help small and smart companies (worldwide) create unique and amazing products to penetrate the European market. This is how French Flair was born!

What is your backstory (how did you get to where you are today)?

For 20 years I worked with different big companies, building selective distribution channels for great products (Dior jewelries, Stokke Babycare products). I stand by: passion and hard work, involving the right person at the right moment, balance in thinking.

What motivates you?

Discover and learn. Teach. Make people happy. My family. Success.

What is your super power?

Multi-tasking and hard work!

I often wake up at 7 am and go to sleep at 1am (I get very few hours to sleep!). There are so many things to do when you build your own company and when details are so important for you!

How do you protect (and give back to) your community?

In my previous experiences, I have organized several partnerships with associations that support diseases (Breast Cancer) or for kids (Hopital Necker or Les Restos Bébés du Coeur). I believe it is important to share our resources with people who need those resources. I admire Bill Gates and I believe if each one of us could act like him, things could be very different in the world. As soon as French Flair is in a postion to donate, I will choose one association to support as much as possible. This is important to me and I feel I need to do it!

What is the most difficult part about being an entrepreneur?

The ability to disconnect.

Who do you have a crush on?

My sister in law, Karen Aiach. She is an amazing woman. She created LYSOGENE in 2009to help find a cure for neurodegenerative diseases (after discovering Ornella, her daughter, is carrying San Filippo syndrome, an awful disease).

She has been so strong and focused despite very difficult moments. She has contributed a lot for research and progress. She is a fighter! She is the most courageous mum I have ever met.
